Salary

At Tomko Consulting, Incorporated, we want to reward our employees well for hard work. Occassionally, work at a client may require more than 40 hours of our employees in a given week. One way we compensate for this work is by including the overtime hours worked in the formula used for calculating the quarterly bonus. (See Bonus Plan). The second way we compensate for overtime is by giving employees the option to take their salary on an hourly basis instead of a yearly basis. Employees can also use this method if they prefer to have more vacation time. Employees on the hourly compensation plan are not eligible for paid vacation. However, the health plan, training, and tuition reimbursement are still applicable providing that the employee maintains 1500 working hours each year. The bonus plan and referral bonus do not have a minimum hourly requirement. The retirement plan may have a minimum annual hourly requirement because the amount an employee can put into a retirement plan is subject to IRS rules regarding deferred income for retirement plans.

Employees can choose at the beginning of each year whether they prefer an annual or hourly salary plan.
